The word gospel means a good message or good news.

The Good News of our LORD Jesus Christ and what He has done includes but is not limited to the following elements:

• Our names are written in heaven Luk 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
• Eternal salvation of our souls Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
• Forgiveness of our sins Eph 1:7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;  Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 
• We are reconciled to God  2Co 5:18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;  Rom 5:10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
• Have become temples of the Holy Spirit   1Co 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
• Christ dwells within us by His Spirit, He is our hope of glory  Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
• The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into all truth  1Jn 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
• Jesus bore our sickness and disease and by His stripes, we are healed  Isa 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  1Pe 2:24  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by  whose stripes ye were healed.
• Spiritual power and spiritual gifts are available to us for our growth and transformation  1Co 12:7  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.  1Co 12:8  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;  1Co 12:9  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;  1Co 12:10  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:  1Co 12:11  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
• Jesus has become our Righteousness 1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
• Jesus has become our Wisdom 1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
• Jesus has become our Sanctification 1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
• Jesus has become our Redemption 1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
• Jesus is our Justification Rom 4:25  Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
• We can be transformed and our minds renewed  Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
• Christ is being formed in us  Gal 4:19  My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
• We are set free in Christ Jesus Joh 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Joh 8:36  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
• We have power over all the power of the devil Luk 10:19  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
• We have power over sin and need no longer be its slave1Jn3:6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 1Jn 5:18  We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.  Rom 6:22  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
• We can mature until we come to the full measure of the stature of the LORD Jesus Christ Eph 4:13  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
• Gospel of sonship, we are adopted as children of God Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  
• Joint heirs with Christ Jesus Rom 8:17  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
• Seated with Christ in the heavenlies Eph 2:6  And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
• We can come boldly before the Throne of Grace Heb 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
• We can come to a place of perfect fellowship with God
